Nagaland blast kills one, injures four

Kohima: One person was killed and four others were injured when an explosive material went off at a scrap dealer’s shop in Burma camp area of Nagaland’s Dimapur district in the night, police said.

Police said the blast occured when the shop owner’s son tried to break a cylindrical metal object, which turned out to be an explosive. He died on the spot.

Police, who combed the shop after the explosion, recovered nine more such explosives.
